As a fan of the direct communication used on car dealers' business cards, Willem de Haan copied the designs and turned them in to business cards of fictional art dealers. As an attempt to comfort the art scene to openly speak about its less ideological financial side, De Haan spread the business cards around exhibitions and artists personally; sticking them behind paintings and underneath sculptures, just like car dealers stick them between your car's window rubbers.
