Direct Connections (2020)

A collection of walking routes based on Berlin's most famous map; the U + S-bahn plan. These routes are connections between stations that are part of the city's metro network. While some seem to be quite far away from each other on the official map published by the BVG, these stations in reality are quite close together. They
​actually are so close together, that walking in between them is faster than using the U + S-bahn network between these stations.

This project was developed by Willem de Haan as a part of the OPEN MAP booklet, published by ZK/U Berlin in November 2020.
