A few years ago I bought my first camera phone full of ambition: I wanted to complete the internet. Everything that was not on the internet yet should be on there I thought. To succeed in this I needed to change my daily behaviour and suspect all the things around me of 'not yet being on the internet'. Once a moment, subject or situation was suspected I started filming it for as long as it interested me. Everything was uploaded onto youtube.
A few years later: last summer, good friend and colleague Jaume Clotet started the instagram page @boombboring. On this page he posts a selection of witty videos that have recently been circulating on the internet. While I sent him some of my own footage for the page I got reminded of the dream to complete the internet.
The film you're about to see is one archive reacting to the other and the other reacting back.
