Essentials (2020)

Five backpacks, each filled with items one could label as essential, hang on the exhibition wall. Visitors are invited to take one of the backpacks with them as they leave the exhibition. As a deposit they are asked to leave the objects they carry on them (think of phone, wallet, keys, etc.) in a safe in the exhibition space. The backpack can be returned to the exhibition space at any time during the show's opening hours.
